Guy Mowbray is one of the components of BBC's Match of the Day and will be on hand at Wembley on Sunday for the League Cup final.  Earlier this week, he joined the EPL Talk Podcast to break down the match-up between Aston Villa and Manchester United as well as talk about the English football landscape, including his summer expectations for the Three Lions.

On the Wednesday edition of the EPL Talk podcast we were proud to welcome David Goldblatt, renown for his work on The Ball is Round, possibly the definitive book chronicling the history of football.  David is also regularly featured at Prospect Magazine, where he has recently written pieces on the legacy of the 2010 African Cup of Nations and the criticisms of South Africa in the build-up to the World Cup.  We talk about those things as well as England 2018 World Cup bid and the emerging corporate culture in the Premier League.

Dwight Yorke is best known for his days playing for Manchester United and Aston Villa.  On this edition of the EPL Talk Podcast, the Trinidad and Tobago international, who represented his country at the 2006 World Cup, joined the Gaffer as part of ESPN's Super Bowl at Sea cruise.  

Yorke, who partnered with Andrew Cole in attack for Manchester United in the late 1990s, made his First Division debut in 1990 and would go on to play for Villa, United, Blackburn Rovers, Birmingham City and Sunderland, with a brief sojourn in Australia before his final days at the Stadium of Light.   Between the 1995-96 season and 1999-2000, Yorke scored at least 12 goals in each Premier League campaign, playing his part in Manchester United's consecutive title-winning sides of 1998-99, 1999-2000, and 2000-01.

On this edition of the EPL Talk podcast we are joined by Andrew Cole.  Cole is an iconic player of the Premier League era, coming to prominence in 1993-94 when he scored 34 league goals for Newcastle United.  He later joined Manchester United where he collected three consecutive 20-goal seasons from 1997-98 through 1999-2000, playing an integral part in United's treble winning season in 1998-99.

Andrew joined The Gaffer for this interview, conducted on the ESPN Super Bowl cruise.
