The EPL Talk Podcast is the only Premiership interview show on the Internet. Every week we feature intelligent interviews with different guests that include commentators, players, authors and legends from the English Premier League.

The Champions League has made for interesting reading in the EPL recently. The disjunction between league form and european woe has pundits scratching their heads, but Kartik sheds light on the hierarchy at Man City which may be under scrutiny from fans as Mancini looks on in dismay.

Neil Bourne makes his EPLTalk debut with a questionable Skype connection but solid views about Manchester United and their performance on Tuesday night. Our man at Old Trafford tries to convey some of the frustration and anticipation which United fans are feeling right now.

We preview a great weekend of derby-ness to come. Merseyside and London both hosting their neighbourly clashes, but has the derby lost it's meaning as the EPL changes its power-players?

For a future podcast we want to hear your views on FIFA 12 and PES 2012. Let us know what you play and why you play it. mp3s and wavs welcome to: laurencemckenna@epltalk.com

This weekend the pod focuses on the order of games. Does United's draw reflect anything in the league or is this just down to 'luck of the draw' at FA Head-Quarters? Either way, it makes for an interesting narrative-arc in this week's action.

Looking forward to the Champions League, Petr Cech claims that Chelsea are obsessed with winning a European Cup, but does the dominance of so many other teams make it yet more impossible for this side?

Torres talk continues as he managed to bag himself a goal and then get sent off. Referees had a lot to do with this week's results, but how much influence did they have on the overall flow and pace of play?

To cap off another podcast we have a competition. The third segment introduces the opportunity to win 'Footballers' Haircuts' by posting a picture of your favourite footy-haircut below. We chose the winner on Thursday during the podcast so get your entries in now. Leave them in the comment section and you might win a once in a lifetime prize.

The Carling Cup has thrown up some interesting situations for our EPL our the past few years. But with so much significance put on the big competitions it can be forgotten. This week's podcast looks at why the League Cup still holds significance for so the league.

To start, we digest Owen Hargreaves comments about his rehabilitation at Manchester United. Was he right to speak out now or is this just press hype? Sir Alex will voice his opinion in the Friday press conference but hear what Jesse Chula and Kartik Krishnaiyer have to say before anyone else.

We also preview the action to come this weekend. Whilst it isn't a big weekend for 'top of the table' clashes there are going to be some challenges for the top teams in the league. The pod review the chances of an upset after the fairly convincing displays from all of our regular winners. The conclusion: the best clash of the weekend doesn't always involve a champion.

The pod concludes that this is the best weekend of football that we have seen so far this season. With simultaneous competitions getting underway in September it is now time to use squads more wisely and see who has spent well. A few weeks out of the transfer window and the first signs of buying with forethought might be showing at the top of the table.

With a glut of big games on Sunday this podcast is presented in two-halves. Saturday and Sunday. Saturday offered a show of class and determination from 'The Rest' whilst Sunday threw up surprises and questions for some of the 'Sky Six'. We go in depth on Blackburn v. Arsenal, Spurs v. Liverpool and the most positive clash of the weekend Man Utd v. Chelsea.

If it is all relative then this Champions League week looks like a real achievement for all Premier League sides. To discuss the successes and shortfalls of our Euro-Adventurers Laurence McKenna is joined by Kartik Krishnaiyer and Jesse Chula.

The first segment is dedicated to european form and success. The biggest question is: how will this impact upon league form and momentum built up by the 2011 Top 4? It would seem that a change is as good as a rest for some, will Arsene Wenger welcome his change of location in the stadium?

Then we look forward to Saturday and Sunday. The first glut of big games come on 'Super Sunday' when United take on Chelsea at Old Trafford. With rotation and squad size being important factors so early on, how much of an indication of the success is this?

All this and much more on the EPLTalk Podcast.

Progression is the 'buzz-word' of the podcast this week. As Manchester continues to rule the roost, Laurence McKenna, Kartik Krishnaiyer and Jesse Chula begin to discuss if this is a sustainable run of form. With London reemerging in the league this weekend the competition is hotting up, but none of the title contenders seem to have been seriously tested so far.

With progress in mind, all English teams will be looking to shimmy through the group stages of the Champions League. There is a preview of the games to come for Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal. How do they match up in week one? Does this EPL season starting earlier than La Liga and Serie A give EPL sides an advantage?

The relief can be heard that the international break is over and the Premier League has returned. The trio of Laurence, Kartik and Jesse discuss the performances by England, the unfortunate death of a Wales fan, the romanticism of international football, whether England is considered "a London club," where Garry Cook stands after his recent alleged faux pas, whether Royston Drenthe will be one of the most inspired transfer signings, and -- last but not least -- a preview of this weekend's Premier League matches.

With the transfer deadline day finished, Kartik and Laurence dissect all of the major moves made during the August transfer window. The duo look at buys made by specific teams such as QPR and Manchester United, as well as which clubs made the panic buys and which ones made sensible moves.
